Institute for Missionary Discipleship

The Institute for Missionary Discipleship takes the mission of College Ministry and extends it to all student leaders at Benedictine College and to leaders in the New Evangelization. The Institute for Missionary Discipleship seeks to transform lives in Christ for a life of mission by forming and sending students and attendees into the world as Catholic Missionary Disciples.

Evangelization

The Institute for Missionary Discipleship will train students and Church leaders in the five stages of Missionary Discipleship, the characteristics and needs of people in each stage, and how to help a person advance to the next stage. This formation is applicable to all apostolates, is centered in Benedictine Spirituality, and is highly practical, giving participants the knowledge, skills, and practice to give and attractive witness to their faith. Participants will be formed as intentional disciples to serve as a light in their churches, workplaces, home, and the public square.

The Summer Session for Leaders in the New Evangelization will extend this formation and program content to Church leaders around the country. Learn More

Youth Outreach

Benedictine College's Youth Outreach programs are Sacrament-centered, relational and incarnational, and embody the Benedictine charisms of community, stability and simplicity.
